Emergency Women's Shelters & Halfway Houses
"Making a Difference" is our motto at Real House Inc. We operate emergency women's shelters, treatment facilities, and halfway houses to help women in the Montclair, New Jersey, area.
All of our programs are staffed with qualified professionals who provide an array of services to adult women dealing with many challenges, including substance abuse, domestic violence, and other psycho-social issues.

Support & Treatment Programs
It is our goal to provide a comprehensive program of services and resources to help our residents and clients along the path to becoming healthy, self-sufficient, independent women. These programs address a variety of issues that our ladies face including:
- Narcotics Abuse
- Alcohol Abuse
- Eating Disorders
Our facilities are located in Montclair, Bloomfield and Newark, all centrally located in Essex County. In Montclair, we currently operate two shelters exclusively for women, and in Bloomfield and Newark there are two halfway houses for women, and the Outpatient Center for men and women (IOP) is located in Montclair. Montclair and Bloomfield have many churches and facilities that house 12-step recovery meetings and other support groups. Newark has a wide variety of support services and programs that clients are able to take advantage of. All three locations also offer easy access to public transportation, as well as cultural and recreational activities including:

There is a Halfway House for men scheduled to open in Elizabeth, NJ in the fourth quarter of 2014.
